Keeper Security LOST ALL MY PASSWORDS

I couldnt believe my eyes or ears. I had over 200 passwords, I updated the app this past friday morning 4/24/20. When I went to re-open the updated app it required me to upgrade to the $30/year service to retrieve my old passwords. I paid the $30 & come to find out it only saved passwords from 5 years ago & nothing current. I lost over 150 passwords & it ruined the next 2 days scrambling to rebuild my password list. I called customer service, which was no help. They told me "unfortunately this is the risk you run when using the free version". I asked if this has happened to anyone else & they said "yes, unfortunately with the free version of the app this is a risk that happens". I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I told t...Toon meer

I tried the free version which was good on one platform, in my case I used it on my desktop system. It was constant popups trying to get you to upgrade to the cross platform version. Next I was getting constant messages that my "trial" was running out and I needed to upgrade. I wrote and asked why and was told it would only work on one platform unless I upgraded. Then I found it would not work on that one platform. SO IT IS ALL A LIE The free version is not "free" for one platform . I'm glad i tried it. I will go back to either 1Password, or Dashlane. Dashlane was the easiest to use, and fastest. If you don't upgrade with Dashlane, they offer you a discount. I wish I had done that rather than waste time with the garbage, nuisance ...Toon meer

I have used this app as long as I can remember, the first few years I had the free version but later added the subscription version. Never had any trouble with the app. I love how it will auto-fill your info for you on a lot of my apps. Very user friendly, I recommend it all the time to family and friends sometime even strangers that will listen to me.

I used password keeper for a couples years for free before purchasing it. It worked great. However, when it came to upgrading my phone i did not want to enter all my passwords into it again so with the paid version it just popped all my private info over to my new phone in seconds. Great little app. I keep paying the yearly subscription for it now. Totally worth it and recommended.
